The Teelo table lamp by Secto Design is reminiscent of the classic reading lights from banks and libraries, but the natural birch wood makes it look homely and warm – not the first two adjectives that come to mind when thinking of a library or a bank. Made in Finland, the lamp comprises a cylindrical base and a curved shade connected by an elegant wooden joint as if subtly reminding us that the lamp is, indeed, handcrafted. The wooden Teelo lamp was designed by Seppo Koho.
